Dell Thunder Has Rumblings Of Android and Hulu

via EngadgetThe Dell Lightning leak came coupled with a slew of other leaks from Dell, including this little beaut. The Dell Thunder is the Android flavored offering of the Windows Phone 7-inclined Lightning. The Device itself is not the same; it lacks a physical keyboard. But, much of the hardware is the same, down to the same 4.1" QVGA OLED screen. The innards aren't disclosed yet, but chances are good it's running the same Snapdragon processor as its brother the Lightning, and it's also supposedly got an 8MP camera.

All US Androids To Get 2.1 Upgrade

Here's some good news for Android users. Android and Me is reporting that all US Android devices will see an update to 2.1, possibly very soon. Whether or not all the features will be brought over depends on the handset. More processor intensive features like Live Wallpapers and the like are most likely too much for a little Cliq to handle, but the core feature set will be possible, and will most likely be seen around the Q2 2010 area. 

Do be aware though, that for some devices, the upgrade may need to wipe the device clean before installing, so make sure you back up your data. No word on if it will be an OTA upgrade, or if it will require a PC tethered install, but considering it can wipe the phone, it's probably pretty hefty and would be best suited to a PC install.
