The Followpocalypse And The Bug That Caused It

Earlier this week, a bug in twitters system was uncovered by a Turkish user, exposing a very vulnerable part of twitter's infrastructure allowing a user to force another user to follow them. A Turkish twitter user, who only wanted to express his love for Turkish band "Accept" tweeted the phrase "Accept pwnz". Though, instead of seeing the tweet post to his timeline, he noticed that he had a new follower with the username "pwnz".
