Some users are experiencing various Wi-Fi problems on the iPad. As of Wednesday, there are over 1100 posts on Apple's forums under the Wi-Fi thread. Complaints vary from weak signals to the iPad's inability to join known wireless networks. Apple responded on their site with the following:

There's a great quick fix if you're afflicted with one of the yellow-tinged iMacs that have been being distributed. The devices haven't been fixed yet, but there is a temporary fix that might make the process of resolving this issue more bearable.
If you head into System Prefs and set one of your hot corners to "Put Display To Sleep", the next time your screen starts to flicker, just put it to sleep for a few minutes and it should be ok when you wake it up. Now, of course, this isn't a long term solution. Just a stop-gap measure until Apple finally fixes the issue.
