You might say this was the the first shot fired in the friendship-turned-rivalry between Apple and Google. Not too long after, Apple picked up Quattro Wireless. Since then, we've been wondering what Apple might be doing with them. In the days leading up to last week's iPhone OS 4.0 event, some information leaked that we might be seeing Apple's new iAd platform for iPhone at the event. We did.
