Dell Lighting Strikes Me Off Guard

The Dell Lighting. I didn't think I'd ever see the day when I'd be excited about a mobile device Dell put out, yet here we are. Last Thursday evening, as I'm winding down for the night, this little bugger falls into Engadget's lap. As I sat, totally surprised, I finally snapped out of my stupir and took a look at the specs. The Dell Lightning is running Windows Phone 7, in a portrait slider qwerty configuration. The device itself looks gorgeous, but of course it's just a rendering. Either way, it says quite a bit about Dell. Looks like they're making up for lost time. Back in the day, I myself had a Dell PDA PocketPC, and I can imagine that quite a few people did. Since then, Dell has been pretty much absent from the mobile world. Good to see them coming back, and hopefully coming back strong.
