Seesmic For Android Gets More Formidable

Do you have an Android device? Are you running Seesmic For Android? If you're not, you have a problem. Android's developer community still lacks the polish and prestige that the iPhone community carries, but every day gets the Android community a little closer. (Let's not forget that the iPhone community has about a year of lead time.) One of these such entries is Seesmic's Android app. If ever there were an app to showcase what this platform can do, and the care that's being put into developing for the platform, Seesmic would be in the running. (Along with Slidescreen)

Seesmic has replaced every other Twitter app on my Droid with the exception of Twidgit Lite which I use just for the homescreen accessibility. The Seesmic update includes a few key features that bring it closer to the best iPhone apps, and certainly the best Android app. We're talking about: Multi-accounts for browsing and cross posting. Directly from the compose screen, users can select which accounts to post to. The other killer feature is persistence in your timeline. No matter where you go, your timeline will be where you left it. 

There are a few more additions, but those are the big two. Alright, that's enough. Get going to the Android Market and get downloading.
